Fasting and The Body Systems
Fasting is the practice of not eating (with or without water) for various periods of time. When we are sleeping and not eating, we are fasting. Fasting has become a popular practice for many.
Some people attest to significant health benefits from regular fasting and research is beginning to accrue more evidence regarding its benefits. But, there are caveats, "best practices" and definite risks.
This video reviews the different types of fasting, the risks and contradictions, how fasting affects various body systems, the relevance of autophagy, mTorr and more.
